First, here's what Redeema will ask for

  • ✓Organization name
  • ✓Contact person and their information
  • ✓Organization category and subcategory
  • ✓Non-Profit Proof: select Other for most organizations that are not a registered 501(c) entity.

Then, here's what Stripe will ask for during onboarding

    Business Type

    Select Individual if your organization is not registered as a 501(c) nonprofit entity. Individual is the correct option for most graduating classes, sports leagues, and community groups running fundraisers.

    Industry

    Select Membership Organizations > Civic, fraternal or social associations. This category also applies to graduating classes, sports leagues, and community groups.

    Account owner information

    The name and personal details of the person responsible for the account.

    No website? Use "Add Product"

    If you're a graduating class, sports league, or school without a website Stripe can clearly verify, use the "Add Product" option and copy this template, replacing the values with your own:

    We are the Parent Board of the [Class Name, e.g. Senior Class 2027] graduating class at [School Name] in [Town], Puerto Rico. We use the Redeema platform for fundraising and digital fee collection from parents, family members, and school community members. Billing items include: monthly/annual graduation dues, event tickets for fundraising activities (family events, prom/gala), and sale of class merchandise (t-shirts, class accessories). We do not have our own website; payment requests and transactions are managed directly through our integration on the Redeema platform.

    Link a bank account

    We recommend using a business bank account so you don't run into issues later with taxes or your bank when receiving these funds.

    Identity verification (KYC)

    Stripe may run a Know Your Customer check to validate your information — this can include a photo ID and a selfie.

Once onboarding is complete and Stripe approves your account, you'll be able to access the Redeema platform.
