Terms & Conditions of Service

1. Binding Agreement and Eligibility

By accessing or using the Redeema mobile application and web portals (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms.

• Jurisdiction: This Service is intended for users in Puerto Rico and the United States. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
• Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and participate in financial transactions or sweepstakes.
• Incorporated Documents: Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy (AUP), and the Master Official Sweepstakes & Promotion Rules, which are incorporated herein by reference.

2. Administrative Governance

Redeema acts solely as a Technology Service Provider and Data Processor.

• Organization Responsibility: Administrators (Presidents, Coaches, Teachers) who upload member data (including minors) represent and warrant that they have obtained verifiable parental consent.
• Independent Entities: Organizations and Business Sponsors are independent third parties. Redeema is not responsible for the internal management, fund allocation, or prize fulfillment of these entities.
• Enterprise Agreements: If your Organization or Business has executed a separate Master Service Agreement (MSA) with Redeema, the terms of that MSA shall supersede these Terms in the event of any direct conflict.

3. Receipt Integrity and Anti-Fraud / Anti-Abuse

To maintain a fair ecosystem for our sponsors, the following rules apply to the Global Scan feature:

• Authenticity: You may only submit original, physical, or digital receipts from your own personal purchases. Submitting receipts found in public areas, purchased from third parties, or duplicated is strictly prohibited.
• Accuracy: Using AI or software to alter receipt data (Merchant, Date, or Amount) is a material breach of these terms.
• Termination: Redeema employs deterministic fraud detection. Any account suspected of submitting fraudulent data will be permanently banned, and all tickets or prizes will be forfeited without right to appeal.

4. Financial Transactions & No Custody of Funds

• Stripe Integration: All payments are processed via Stripe. By using Redeema, you also agree to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement.
• No Fund Custody: Redeema is not a bank. Funds for dues or donations flow directly to the Organization's account.
• Refund Policy: All refund requests for community funds must be directed to the respective Organization. Redeema does not issue refunds for funds managed by third-party organizations.
• Business "Pay & Activate": Business campaign fees are prepaid and non-refundable once the campaign is activated.

5. Promotions, Sweepstakes, and Leaderboards

• No Purchase Necessary (NPN): In compliance with DACO (Puerto Rico) and US Federal laws, every sweepstakes provides an Alternative Method of Entry (AMOE).
• Deterministic Selection: Winners are selected via our proprietary, tamper-evident algorithm based on predefined ticket ranges.
• Sponsorship Disclaimer: Apple Inc. and Google LLC are NOT sponsors of, nor are they involved in any way with, the promotions hosted on Redeema.

6. Intellectual Property

The "Community OS" architecture, the "Global Scan" logic, the "Silent Wallet" framework, and the "Hash Chaining" audit log are the exclusive property of Redeema LLC. Any attempt to reverse engineer or decompile the software is strictly prohibited.

7. Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS."

• Prizes: Redeema assumes no liability for the quality, safety, or delivery of prizes provided by Business Sponsors or Organizations.
• Liability Cap: Redeema's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by the user to Redeema in the six months preceding the claim.

8. Arbitration and Governing Law

Any dispute arising under this agreement shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration in San Juan, Puerto Rico, under the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
