Questions from faith communities
Can we use Redeema for tithes and offerings?
It isn't meant to replace your regular tithe and offering collection; your church keeps doing that as it does today. Redeema is for specific efforts with their own goal: a missionary, a mission trip, a building repair or a ministry program. Each one gets its own campaign page, and the church receives the funds.
Can we keep funds separate by purpose?
Yes. Every campaign is its own named fund, such as missionary support, the temple roof or a youth retreat, with its own goal and progress. Funds are never mixed.
How does the board see where the money stands?
The admin dashboard shows leadership who gave, how much and when, with real-time progress for each campaign. Every contributor gets an automatic digital receipt, and the church treasury administers every dollar, so the board has the records it needs.
Does our church need to be a 501(c)(3)?
No. You can create your organization without being a registered 501(c) entity. When you set up payments, Stripe will ask for your organization type, and our registration guide tells you what to select. For tax questions, check with your accountant.
How much does it cost?
